(Senior) Project Engineer for OEM business (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

Diverse & exciting

  • As a dedicated project manager/engineer with a passion for rail projects, you are THE technical contact person for our OEM customers (vehicle manufacturer) and their key account managers
  • You will be responsible for the management, implementation and support of OEM projects in accordance with operational excellence criteria
  • For customer projects, you will be involved in the definition, analysis, and consulting for APC vehicle solutions in the areas of design (hardware) and interfaces (software)
  • You manage FAI processes and always adhere to our high-quality management guidelines and standards
  • Documentation processes are just as much a part of your day-to-day work as cross-departmental coordination processes

Good qualities

that you bring along

  • You have a degree in engineering or a comparable qualification and demonstrable experience in providing technical support to OEM customers (perhaps even in the rail sector?)
  • Project management and project control are part of your everyday life: you have sound knowledge and several years of experience in these areas and have internalized the "cash is king" guideline for the efficient use of resources
  • You are not only proficient in technical support, but also have a strong ability to interpret complex interface specifications and experience in technical sales support
  • You are familiar with sensor technologies such as lidar and structured light and have a good understanding of embedded computing in rail infrastructure projects
  • As a team player with excellent communication skills, you are willing to work closely with development teams
  • You are characterized by resilience and assertiveness as well as solution orientation
